Le Parkour in the world.

Hail !

Here I am again.
Now, I'm going to write some critics about a sport called Le parkour (the track in french).
As you might know about it, you jump, and do some extraordinary things in this sport. And this sport is going all around the world. But, there's a problem... can someone imagine what happens if this sport get well-known ?
Here is a video showing some guys doing that.



I mean, can you imagine, somebody steals you, then you call the police to catch the thief, but when the policeman is almost getting him, he starts jumping through the wall then from a building to other... it would be the end for us.

Well, now we know that not all the sports are good for our health, and probably some of them must disappear. Say NO to le parkour !

*It was just a joke, sports are good to our health, you should practise one, le parkour is included.

Time to Have Fun

Salutations for everione, I'm Lucas Bittencourt from the Games' Place of this blog. I'm here now to give some shortcuts for you, to make your life easy.

If you want to play games on pc, sometimes you'll need some help, about some place of the game, and when it happen you can contact me 'cause I'll help you, but in some cases you just want some cheats for a game and I'll show you now some good sites that you can find cheats and little guides about your game.

If you don't want to use cheats, or even just don't play games on the pc, another activity that is very good to enjoy sometimes is to watch some animes, if you don't know what is anime, it's a kind of animation from japan, every cartoon made in Japan, is called in occidental countries by anime. So, if you want to watch some anime, there is a very good site that has many known animes and many so as not known as the others, but all them are with japanese sound and english subtitles, good to practise your english too, learn more vocabulary...

The Earth Hour

Today we brasilians from Rio de Janeiro and people from other countries turned off our room lights, in a simbolic act, which was called Eath Hour.
This is one more act of WWF.
But, what is one hour to everything people do to help destroying the planet? Is it really necessary? Does it really work? Maybe. Now, we're seeing famous people on TV, with a ball on their hands and a candle, saying "We are doing the best for our planet"... Are they? I still think it's one of these actions to show that big institutions and known people are doing all those fancy things to save the world. We have a lot of things to worry about.
I don't know if I was in this act. My lights are all turned down at 7pm then I turn on the TV, so they were off during the Hour. If you had turned off yours, all right, one hour less of a light on in your light bill. I'm kidding, at least it can make us think about our planet and what we can do to save it.
So we need to throw out our trash in a trash bin,to walk instead of driving, and stop to destroy our forest. And we can't do it with our lights turned off!!

Games from the 21st Century

The 21st century began in 2001, the year that represents much to the world... At first, it was the end of a confused age, an age started with the power of the coal and ended with the uranium. In the middle of this age, many things happened, wars, rock's revolution, michael jackson was born, iron lady destroyed USSR, but one thing was fundamental for everyone... a web that would connect everyone around the world in about 20 years... Called with the name of internet, nowadays it's just a thing that no one wanna be apart and everyone wants to be inside, and it's about internet that I want to talk.

In the beginning of the games, it was just to give the kids something funnier than the old peon, at this time every kid needed to have a console, and put that on tv to play a little game like tetris or pitfall, but was the world in that time... Nowadays it isn't the world anymore, in the end of 20th century a fever that I've explained above, the internet, introduced a new way to play games.

Internet games nowadays is the most liked kind of playing games... And, there is many types of internet games, MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game), 1st person combats, strategy in real time and many others, but these are the most known...

In my opinion, it's a good way to have fun in the net nowadays, 'cause you have the chance of playing with everyone in the world, you can play with your friends without getting out of your comfortable chair, and in the same time you're enjoying a good game in the net. It's confirmed by specialistic, that who play games online acts more friendly with the neighbors.

But if you wanna play games online, below there is some games that I recommend, and if you want, I can talk more about them in other topics, just comment asking for the game that you're interested.

Introducing ourselves.

Well, as the first post from a student, I'll introduce the blog.
We're students from an english course, called Cultura Inglesa, and we're on Express Master (as the link of the blog suggests).

1: What's the meaning of this blog ?

We're trying to improve our english, so our teacher gave us a suggestion to create a blog, and here it is.

2: What's the blog about ?

Many things were discussed in the class, and we didn't got any point in commmon, so we will write about many things, i.e. culture, games, sports, funny things, things happens inside Cultura Inglesa.

3: Why should I read this blog ?

Well, maybe if you want to improve your english, you may tell us about our mistakes commenting so we correct the texts with your help. And if you're north american, you may learn a bit more about our culture, I'm sure you'll like.

4: Who are the staff ?

We, students of Exp. Masters and our teacher too (I think). We have splited the class in some groups, each group will talk about a kind of thing, but they'll introduce themselves.

I take part of the Funny Things. So from my next post on, I'll make you guys who have nothing to do at home to laugh...
